Chuchu Is a Darling

When they first met, she was the one who bumped into him, yet she puffed herself up and snapped at him first, cutting off the “It’s okay” he was about to say as he tried to let her go. As she turned and ran off, her face flushed, perhaps from guilt. He saw it all. When they met again, he recognized her, but she didn’t recognize him. He thought they would never cross paths again, but then someone confessed and said she wanted to pursue him. Knowing she had always been childish, he paid no mind to her teasing. After a while, when she and everyone else thought there was no chance and decided to give up, he was the one who couldn’t let it go. He once decided to study medicine because she said she would stay with him forever and couldn’t live without him. Later, she was gone, but he never changed his mind. Everyone thought the breakup was her fault, and she knew she had been childish and immature back then. But she thought, who hadn’t been childish at some point? She was fickle by nature, and besides, how long could a child’s feelings really last? They simply weren’t right for each other. Qi Jingfan: You won’t know if we’re right for each other unless we try!
