A Grand Rescue of the Bereaved Daughter

Cheng Wenwen is twenty years old and currently a junior in college. Slightly plump, she is unmistakably a young person struggling with mental illness: introverted, withdrawn, and utterly listless. The first twenty years of her life have been, to put it mildly, dull, miserable, regretful, and bleak. Then one day, a perfect young man drops out of the sky and cheerfully introduces himself: “I’m here to change you.” He makes solemn promises and never gives up. He seems completely harmless, but Cheng Wenwen simply cannot bring herself to trust him. She’s prickly, after all, and not so easily won over.
