I'm Really a Witch

A demon-hunting boy who fled his family, and a witch with no magic. Accidental accomplices, former friends. Her heart swelled with pride. “I'm a witch!” He replied with confidence. “But we're going to find a master demon hunter.” She was the unexpected savior of his life, and he was a knot in her heart she could never untie. She wanted to prove it. “I really am a witch!” He didn't care. “Your looks already prove otherwise.” So don't disbelieve me. Don't be so gentle with me, because we're enemies. Yet beyond this story lies another story. The pocket watch ticks in a low, troubled voice. The truth of this world could almost break your heart. Perhaps he never existed. Perhaps her existence was only as a tool. If it were possible, may everything not be so cruel. If it were possible, may tenderness and happiness endure.
