The Fifth Master's Mermaid Actress

After Lan Mo is killed by the fiancée of the man she loves, she returns to a time before she left the sea, only to discover that her beloved Granny offered her soul to the Sea God to save her.

To bring Granny back and get revenge on those who hurt her, Lan Mo leaves the sea once more.

The scumbag and the white lotus want to hurt her again? Having learned the hard way in her previous life, Lan Mo says: You're dreaming.

How do you deal with a scumbag? Of course, by being even more of a scumbag!

How do you deal with a white lotus? Of course, by being even more of a white lotus!

Wait, what's with this man she's never seen before? There's black smoke rising above his head, and she can't even make out his face. And he's coveting a mermaid's beauty?

Only later does Lan Mo learn that in this new life, she's gained the ability to read fortune and misfortune from smoke. There's one man, though, whose smoke is always black. He looks like he's about to die, yet somehow he just won't.

Lan Mo eyes this man who's so different from how he appears! She thinks it over. Sure, he loves bullying fish! And eating them!!! But since he's been dedicated to tackling ocean pollution, this mermaid will grudgingly give him some deep-sea medicinal herbs to keep him alive.
