A Week in the Mountains

I came from a bustling world. I have seen neon lights flashing, but never stars filling the sky. “I can’t leave these mountains, and you won’t stay here forever. We were born into two different worlds.” “The best choice I ever made was coming here alone and meeting you. The world outside is vast. If you get the chance, go out and see it.” I like this place, not because of its simple country charm, its deep bonds untouched by money, or its boundless prospects, but because of you. You make me feel that all those things are worth loving, too.
