Red Agate Beads

This novel explores the impact of family education, peers, and school education on a person. It records the story of several children who were rejected by the whole class and grew up together with the help of the class teacher, Teacher Xu, through the activity of exchanging class points for agate beads. Wei Tingting is the child of a migrant worker and lives with her parents in Donghai City, Guangdong. She experienced life in the first semester of sixth grade with classmates such as Zheng Weiliang, a teenager whose parents were divorced who were also children of migrant workers, Liang Jiali, a local class leader, and Li Daye who lived with her grandfather. The new class teacher, Teacher Xu, was gentle and wise, and helped them solve various confusions in their growth with love and wisdom. They also developed a sincere friendship from the initial misunderstanding to mutual understanding. This story explores the confusion of growing up during the ignorant period of 11 and 12 years old. They are tempted from all aspects, and have various conflicts with their parents, teachers, and peers due to academic issues.
