Song of the Sparrow’s Plume

How come everyone else who ascends becomes a revered deity, worshipped by thousands? But when it comes to Wumin, everyone just wants to take advantage of her? They all treat her like a tool, unaware that even a tool has a will of its own. Even as a half-baked deity, all she wants is to live for herself. Later, amid a world-shaking upheaval, Wumin sees the true warmth and coldness of the world. It turns out the person she loves has been plotting against her all along, while the person who loves her is scorned by the world. So what if I'm a god? So what if I'm a demon? The more Heaven's Dao refuses to accept me, the more I'll defy the heavens.
