The Auspicious County Magistrate

My Weibo: Dear Cao Deng Daren. I post about my daily life all the time, so come say hi~ A funny, cute mystery-solving story about a domineering aide falling in love with me! Xia Zhiqiu is a low-ranking seventh-grade magistrate who disguises herself as a man and serves as the magistrate of Jixiang Town. She had planned to coast through life, eating and waiting for death, but then the adviser Xie Lin'an showed up at her door. Unsolved and suspicious cases soon piled up. With Xie Lin'an’s help, she cracked one unusual case after another and built an impressive record. Just as she was about to get promoted and grow rich, Xia Zhiqiu’s conscience stirred. She asked Xie Lin'an, “I keep taking credit for the adviser’s work. Isn’t that a bit unfair?” Xie Lin'an gave a cold snort. “You want money, I want you. We each get what we want. What’s wrong with that?” Xia Zhiqiu: “?” And so, the little lamb Xia Zhiqiu was obediently carried back to the lair by a big, hungry wolf, even helping the wolf count the money!
