The Confucian Sage Rules the World

This is a world where scholars command the heavens and earth. In ancient times, Cangjie had double pupils and four eyes, and created the twenty-eight characters. His invention shook the world, gave writing to humanity, and put an end to the use of knotted cords. From the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, when a hundred schools of thought contended and sages emerged in droves, to Confucius, the Supreme Sage and Teacher, who gathered literary talent and founded the Academy of All Sages, prose took on the bold spirit of Jian'an, while poetry subdued a myriad nations. After the First Emperor of Qin, the hundred schools were suppressed and Confucianism alone was honored. The contention of the hundred schools gave way to Confucianism, and humanity flourished.

Here, the sound of a zither can manifest sages, poems can rout a thousand armies, calligraphy and paintings can turn into reality, and strategy games can trap the enemy. Here, the great poet Li Taibai passed down peerless poems. It is said that when his brush touched the page, winds rose and clouds gathered; when his poems were complete, ghosts wept and spirits hid. He raised his brush to slaughter the barbarians, earning the world's praise and the title of Poet Immortal! Here, the founder of the Way of Go, Yi Qiu, created peerless games of strategy. With a toss of his pieces, he summoned an army of a million and slew ten million demons, making his name in a single battle. Here, too, lies the Great Luo Buddhist Domain, where a million Buddhist chants resound. Shajia, lord of ten thousand Buddhas, awes heaven and earth. His Buddha's might is unmatched, and he guards the Eastern Territory, keeping it peaceful for a thousand years and earning the prostration of its people.

Here, there are no Tang poems, no Song lyrics, no Yuan dramas, no Ming and Qing novels, and no new Supreme Sage. The young Ye Ru transmigrates to a world of scholars, bringing with him astonishing poetry. He cultivates the arts of the zither, strategy, calligraphy, and painting, and sets out on the path to becoming the Supreme Sage!
