The Empress Really Doesn’t Want to Be a Favorite Consort

Su Zijin transmigrated back to ancient times and became the consort of Prince Ning, who was poisoned and paralyzed in both legs. Everyone thought Su Zijin was doomed to be widowed and that Prince Ning didn't love her. Poor thing! But Su Zijin knew Prince Ning was a beast lying in wait. In the end, he would overthrow the emperor and his brothers, becoming a tyrant feared by all. So, should she hurry to win his favor and cling to his coattails? Ha! Not a chance! Prince Ning was a man who treated her like a bone, sniffing and biting her before warning her not to delude herself into thinking she'd earn his favor! That miserable dog could go to hell. She wasn't going to compete for his attention. She only wanted to live a carefree life and be a happy couch potato. But after receiving a grand gift basket of poison from the young ladies of the inner residence, Su Zijin realized that if she kept being so laid-back, she'd lose her life. Su Zijin packed a small bundle and prepared to run away from home. Prince Ning, her wolf-dog, clamped his jaws around Su Zijin, carefully carried her back to his den, and held her down while licking her furiously, proving he wasn't some miserable dog but her devoted lapdog.
