The Big Shot Is Once Again Lounging Around in the Mortal Realm

To reward the immortals in the Heavenly Court for all their hard work, the Heavenly Emperor holds a “Lucky Draw” every year. This year, Zhao Xiaoli is lucky enough to win a “Hundred-Year Mortal Realm Experience as the Heroine” ticket. (Actually, she's incredibly unlucky; the other immortals all turn it down.) Just as the name suggests, she gets to live the life of a heroine in the mortal realm for a hundred years. But after being reincarnated in the mortal realm, Zhao Xiaoli does just three things in the state of Zhen: eat, wait to die, and go back to the Heavenly Court. She leaves behind these words of wisdom: “Why suffer through life? Why mourn death? All that matters in life is enjoying yourself.” Under her influence, Zhen becomes known as the country of laid-back retirees. During that time, she rejects Prince Gu Wuyan of the neighboring state when he asks for her hand in marriage, again and again. A hundred years later, she returns to the Heavenly Court, and the Emperor berates her: “Have you no shame?” So he sets her up and sends her back to the mortal realm, this time with an additional mission: help at least ten mortals and change their lives. Reincarnated into the Chancellor's residence, Zhao Xiaoli scoffs. “What's ten people? I'll change an entire country!” But when she learns that she has to change the peaceful, conflict-averse state of Zhen, she is stunned. Then there's Su Yishi, the enchanting crown prince of her own state, who climbs through the Chancellor's windows every night to “visit” twelve-year-old Zhao Xiaoli. He's calculating, cold-blooded, and outrageously domineering: Zhao Xiaoli is caught up in a household battle? The neighboring state wants you as a bride? Wipe it off the map! The richest man wants to marry you? Seize his estate! General Zhao's daughter has her eye on you too? Wait, what...? And every day, Su Yishi asks her with wicked charm: “Girl, have you fallen for me today?”
