You’re Pretty Wild, Cutie

My new book, “Surrender to Desire,” is out. Add it to your reading list!

The first time Qiao Ai met Jiang Che, he smiled with his lovely, smiling eyes, reached out to pat her head, and called her Little Qiao Ai.

He was born with smiling eyes. His gentle elegance carried a hint of cool aloofness, making him seem polite and approachable, yet somehow distant.

Qiao Ai was in her rebellious phase and didn’t like being told what to do. But she needed to earn a living, so she acted sweet and sensible in front of Jiang Che. As time passed and she grew comfortable around him, the good-girl persona she’d put on began to crumble...

As a teenager, she fell for a man. When she grew up, she did everything she could to flirt with him, then vanished without a trace.

Years later, when they met again, the man pulled her into his arms, his eyes red. They were still curved as if he were smiling as he murmured, his voice low and tender, “You’ve really gotten wild, haven’t you? Keep it up, and I’ll break your legs.”
