The Cat Lord Is Surfing the Web at 5G Speeds Again Today

What does it mean to share a bond? For Wu Lin and Yu Zhenyan, it means a connection reaching back a thousand years. Someone broke into the tomb of the Northern Qin princess, triggering the formation inside and awakening Wu Lin, who had slept there for a thousand years. He had once been a cat raised by the Northern Qin princess from childhood. When she died at eighteen and was laid to rest, he slipped into her tomb and held the soul-calming pearl she had given him in his mouth. When he was awakened a thousand years later, the princess’s coffin no longer held her body. Only the soul-calming pearl in his mouth still gave off a faint glow. Wu Lin left the tomb through a hidden passage. By a twist of fate, he eventually ended up in Yu Zhenyan’s hands. He had always wanted to find the princess’s reincarnation, but the soul-calming pearl never glowed again. Until one night, when he kissed Yu Zhenyan while she slept. The soul-calming pearl, which he had kept beneath his tongue all along, enveloped him in a deep blue glow, and he took human form. “A Legalist master sealed a fragment of my soul inside this. Wu Lin, the master said my fate is full of suffering, and that I wouldn’t live past eighteen in any life. Only one life, a thousand years later, would offer a chance to change that, and you are my only chance. I know you’re no ordinary cat. If you take this soul-calming pearl with you, can you help me overcome this tribulation a thousand years from now?” Can cats cry? Perhaps. And so he came to have one, singular wish. May the princess live to be a hundred. He would find her, no matter what. Just writing for fun. This is a gift for my cat. Please don’t give me writing advice. I’m just writing for my own enjoyment. If you don’t like it, see you in my next book. Two thousand words every day, without fail.
