Confucianism and business were vigorous, and they used pen, ink, paper and inkstone to write poems and songs to help the people live and work in peace and contentment. Taoist priests travel around the world, hanging pots to help the world, or subduing demons and killing demons to protect a place's peace. The monks recited sutras and worshiped the Buddha. They used their ordinary bodies to cast the golden body of the Buddha, hoping that all living beings would be equal. When the fig leaf is lifted, Confucian scholars are no longer as good as villagers in the mountains, Taoists are no more than evil demons, and monks have to ignore all living beings.
