Yuezhou

Whose heart did that fleeting glimpse ensnare? The Fifth Miss of the Right Chancellor’s residence, who had gone unnoticed in the capital for over a decade, is unexpectedly betrothed to the city’s most unpredictable prince, Prince Qingyi! When they first meet, Ye Lingzhou amiably proposes a marriage agreement to Gong Yinyue: they will be a couple in name only, and divorce as soon as the time is right. Playing the part of a sheltered young lady newly returned from the countryside, Gong Yinyue silently agrees. Later, Ye Lingzhou holds Gong Yinyue close, all her secret identities exposed, and says with a smile, “My princess, our wedding night is long overdue. How about we make it happen today?” Gong Yinyue smiles and slaps the agreement against Ye Lingzhou’s face. She had only come to the capital to fulfill her master’s dying wish and cure the Empress’s poison, but was forced to get involved in the succession struggle for the sake of her family. Her husband, a prince who once had nothing to do with her, has grown increasingly strange. Gong Yinyue thinks she should help the Fifth Prince take the throne as soon as possible, then leave for good! He thought he was simply adding another person to feed in the household. He never expected this beautiful woman to become more and more captivating. The closer he gets, the more he discovers her irresistible charms. Ye Lingzhou thinks he may never be able to let his princess consort go. One farewell letter turns the world upside down; one pair of delicate hands stirs up a storm!
