You Look So Tiny

Two disabled people together: the long-suffering, worried-mother heroine Bai Yao, paired with the intellectually disabled, silly, sweet, naive hero He Yuan. Bai Yao: What kind of snake are you? You look so tiny. He Yuan: What kind of dragon are you? You look so tiny. What should you do when you find an ugly, silly little black snake while undergoing cultivation in the mortal world, and it latches onto you? Bai Yao is asking online. She’s in a bit of a hurry. Don’t throw away the little black snake you found. Raise it for a while, and you’ll end up with a boyfriend. Though, can dragons and snakes even have children together? Bai Yao is still confused. And that’s not even the main issue. The main issue is that this little black snake is, honestly, so tiny... The little snake is useless at everything and a champion at causing trouble. He ate Taishang Laojun’s divine pill, so Bai Yao pays for it. He knocked over Meng Po’s soup, so Bai Yao has to brew more. He messed up Yue Lao’s red threads, so Bai Yao has to tie them back together. Bai Yao: So did I get a boyfriend or a son? There’s no helping it. The little snake is too adorable, so of course she has to spoil him. But when he really commits a terrible offense, Bai Yao decides she can’t keep indulging him. So she picks up a divine weapon and sends him running... What Bai Yao never expected was that the little snake she had protected from beginning to end seemed to be... a big shot. Bai Yao: I feel like I protected him for nothing. On their wedding day, Bai Yao feels like she’s having a total breakdown. “My wife looks so tiny and cute like this,” says the little snake. Heh. I love your freaking mom. Oh, whatever. Bai Yao’s stuck with him now, so she might as well make the best of it. What else can she do, divorce him?
