My Father Ren Ping

It has been nearly three years since my father passed away, and my heart has gradually returned to peace. Although I occasionally dream about my father at night, I always feel sad when I wake up in the morning. I have always wanted to write about my ordinary farmer father, but I have always been afraid of uncovering the memories and fearing that painful longing will affect my daily life. However, I am already middle-aged, and I am afraid that when I grow old and want to write, I will lose my eyesight and energy. I am a very procrastinating person in life, with procrastination, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and laziness all at the same time. I finally made up my mind to write about my father. My father's life was really full of ups and downs, with more sadness than joy. I wonder if my father would be unhappy with such an evaluation?
