Why Won't My Beloved Consort Compete for My Favor?

[A lighthearted, laugh-out-loud sweet romance, one-on-one, both leads devoted only to each other] Jiang Xin transmigrates into the novel she wrote, stuck with the script of a minor female character who won't survive past the second chapter. After trying all sorts of ways to die, Jiang Xin discovers that her only way out is to live until the ending. Jiang Xin: “Your Highness, hurry up and ascend the throne already. I really can't wait any longer.” Qiu Yuebai: “My beloved consort, once I take the throne, I promise you the position of empress.” Jiang Xin rolls her eyes. Who cares? She just wants to stay alive and make it to the ending so she can go home. But why are there so many people trying to kill her? They keep coming one after another, and staying alive gets harder and harder. Jiang Xin finally figures out the reason: she's far too favored! Jiang Xin: “Your Highness, please stay away from me until you take the throne.” Qiu Yuebai: “Then I suppose I'll have to spend the night elsewhere.” Jiang Xin applauds as she sees him off. “Take care. Don't let me keep you.” Qiu Yuebai: “...” Qiu Yuebai: “I might just give the position of principal consort to another woman.” Jiang Xin: “OOKK, no problem.” For the first time in his life, Qiu Yuebai tries to act cute. “My beloved consort doesn't love me as much as she used to. What will it take to make her fight for my favor?”
