Little Bits of Cold Stars

Human relationships are as thin as paper, and world affairs are like new chess games. The poor live in the busy city and no one cares about them; the rich live in the mountains and have distant relatives. If you don't believe it, just look at the wine at the banquet. Cups are served to the rich first. A tall horse is tied in front of the door, and it means kissing even if you come in person. If you put a begging stick in front of your door, your relatives and friends will not come to your door. People in the world need gold to make friends. If you don't have a lot of gold, your friendship won't be deep. There are fair-weather friends from time to time, but those who don't have money or power can't get close to each other. Meeting each other is like getting to know each other for the first time, and there will be no resentment until the end. The tower near the water gets the moon first, and the flowers and trees facing the sun are easy to spring. No one talks behind that person, and no one talks in front of that person. If you use all your ten points, your children and grandchildren will be far away and close to you. The waves behind the Yangtze River push the waves ahead, and the new people in the world drive out the old ones. How can it be that the tears of longing for one's relatives on a far journey are not as great as those of missing one's children in the high hall? The two elders in the hall are living Buddhas, so why use the spiritual mountain to pay homage to the World Honored One? If wealth comes from cunning, the idle man in the world will drink the west wind. When you ask for help, you need to be a man; when you need help, you need to help others when they are in need.
