Fellow Daoist, Why Are You Ascending to Heaven?

In the ruined city, crumbling high-rises stood like towering tombstones with their corners broken off. Hazy clouds of dust drifted through the streets, bringing with them an air of desolation. The devastation on every side had turned the entire city of Sanjiang into a bleak graveyard!

A few days ago, savage beasts had hunted their way through the city and left, creating this tragedy.

Some beasts stayed behind, scavenging for scraps in this graveyard...

As the sun rose, Shen Feng, a young human, crawled out of the ruins. Relying on the palm techniques his older sister had taught him, he fought to survive.

Shen Feng knew there was a wider world beyond the city. The question was whether he could conquer it.

Even for the sake of the people who had died, he could not fall here! Never!
