I Picked Up a Young Lord to Bring Good Fortune

This is the story of a feisty little fox who wants to eat a big white rabbit, only to be carried back to the den by a great big wolf in rabbit’s clothing. The silly girl Tao Yaoyao takes her beloved A-Huang out to run wild, then happily brings home a handsome deaf-mute scholar she found on the back hill. The mighty Young Lord Luo has fallen on hard times and, much to his chagrin, gets picked up like a piece of junk and made into a groom to bring good luck. Never mind losing face and possessions, he accidentally brings about his new bride’s death, too. Then one day, Young Lord Luo watches as his most favored young page suddenly transforms before his eyes... into that wretched girl he has been searching for everywhere. She’s thriving, and on top of that, she’s always scheming to kill him. Young Lord Luo grits his teeth in anger, but just can’t bring himself to bite. The whole situation leaves him utterly vexed...
