The Commandery Princess Was Once an Immortal

On the eighth day of the ninth month, the Yan Dynasty celebrates its Longevity Festival, with envoys from every court arriving to pay their respects. The Shangyang Commandery Princess, who thought she had found true love, faced the greatest hardship of her life. Slander, falling into the water, having her identity exposed… Not only was she nearly tortured to death, but the entire capital laughed at her. She was utterly humiliated. Forget it! Men are all the same. There’s no need to make a fool of myself over one. ** “Princess! This is terrible! The Zhì Dynasty’s envoy has specifically requested that you be sent there as a bride!” The maid’s terrified expression made Wen Siqing feel as if the sky were falling. “Quickly, bring me my whip! I’ll beat those people until they’re crawling!” She propped a leg on the stool like a female hooligan, gritting her teeth. “Ah… Princess, the imperial decree has already been issued. I’m afraid you have no choice but to go.” Well, would you look at that. They’d merely come to inform her. In the end, she was forced into the bridal sedan and had no choice but to marry Shen Yexiu, the God of War Prince of the Zhì Dynasty! ** High above the Ninth Heaven, the returned Female Emperor seemed a little different after completing her tribulation. “Does the Divine Emperor no longer wish to marry me?” Her pleading voice was unbearably humble. “What happened in the mortal realm was no more than a passing cloud. Why must Your Highness cling to it?” His utterly cold attitude was heartbreaking. “Fine. Then you’d better remember what you said today, Divine Emperor. Don’t forget it.” In less than ten days, word had spread throughout the Four Seas and Eight Desolations that Her Highness spent every day drinking and carousing, living a life of debauchery. They say the Northern Star Divine Emperor laughed instead of getting angry when he heard about it. But after that day, everyone who had been there disappeared without a trace. All that remained was our Princess Fuyao, rubbing her lower back and complaining endlessly. [One-on-one romance, both leads are each other’s only partners, slightly angsty]
