Long Winds Across Ten Thousand Miles, Gu Jiangwan

In her previous life, Gu Jiangwan was no more than a pawn in someone else's hands, moved about at the whim of the player. She had no control over her own fate and ultimately died during a palace coup, poisoned by a toxin she had prepared herself. She couldn't accept it. Reborn, she decides to become the one moving the pieces and make everyone who once treated her like a pawn taste what it's like to be one! She swiftly and decisively deals with the Gu family members who got her abducted by human traffickers in her previous life, lays a trap for her former master, arranges for the emperor's favorite consort from her past life to enter the palace early and become close sisters with the empress, and uncovers the secret behind her mother's death. Wasn't this guy feared by everyone in her previous life? Why is he so easygoing now? Hey, what are you looking at me like that for? Aren't we supposed to fight the moment we meet? I don't want us to end up fighting somewhere else!
