Picking Up Trash with the Top Student

Ever since she and her classmate ran into each other at the hospital, Li Xingli has been falling for Ling Wan Feng. She doesn’t know what it means to like someone; she just knows that whenever she sees the taciturn top student, her heart races and her cheeks turn red. “Ling, thanks for helping me!” The top student didn’t move, as if he hadn’t heard her. “Ling, I like picking up trash too, just like you!” The top student lay on his desk with his eyes shut, acting as if she didn’t exist. “Ling, I like you!” At last, the top student looked her in the eye. After a long pause, he said quietly, “I can only live for five years.” “So what? I could die any day.” Li Xingli tugged at his hand and gently swung it back and forth.
