The Legend of Meng Mountain

Duan Sixu bears a curse that condemned her to die young and meet a tragic end in each of her three lives. She has never believed in fate, nor in heaven! Even though she has failed to find what she seeks in every life, she once said, “As long as I’m alive, fate can’t do a thing to me. If it cuts me once, I’ll cut it right back!”

She meets Qi Xing, a solitary monk caught in fate's cruel grip, in a marshland forest. They leave three claw marks at an abandoned temple and face life and death together in the desert. Qi Xing's unconscious words, “Then we’ll die together,” strike straight to her heart.

Qi Ranxing, who seems both righteous and wicked, meets the two of them in the Southern Domain. From then on, the three travel across mountains and rivers, unravel the eighteen secrets of the Heavenly Mechanism, and seek a way to change their fate.

Duan Sixu establishes the Dream Mountain Sect, using mystical arts and secret techniques to guide lost souls through hardship and tribulation. But after enduring countless trials to discover a way, she learns that this vicious curse was sworn by her beloved in a past life, who offered up ten cycles of reincarnation before dying!
