The Princess Consort Is Fierce and Doesn't Talk Much

In a word: A seemingly aloof, truly stunning supernatural healer versus a seemingly chaste, truly scheming peerless God of War. * Spoiler-filled synopsis: A supernatural military doctor, number 9527, living in the apocalypse, charges into a crowd of zombies and blows herself up to save her comrades. After enduring agonizing pain, she somehow transmigrates into Yan Buzhi, an illegitimate daughter of a military family in Northern Chu. Frailty? Disfigurement and missing teeth? An ugly face and a speech impediment? No problem! Forced into the army? Sent into battle? A near-certain death? No worries! An uncaring father? A vicious stepmother? Siblings out to get her? Small potatoes! Yan Buzhi looks at the opponents bowing before her and silently thinks, “I hope the storm gets even worse.” Those who never forget will surely hear an answer. A handsome man, poisoned and suffering from amnesia, falls from the sky. Looking at the enemy Prince Qin, Ye Wuming, who is so bewildered he cannot even remember who he is, Yan Buzhi has an idea and says, “You are my husband.” Ye Wuming, a mighty warrior who has never lost on the battlefield, nods blankly. “My lady, let's go to bed.” Yan Buzhi: “???” She must have picked him up the wrong way. Otherwise, why does their pretend romance keep turning real, and why does it always go so far? * Poetic version Ye Wuming: At first sight, you took my breath away. You were the dream in my illusory reverie, the one I awaited through mountains and rivers. You were the sudden stir in my heart. When we met, the road ahead opened; when I awoke from my dream, it was you. Our reunion took me by surprise, and you were still just as wonderful as ever. Yan Buzhi: I feel as if I can see a dazzling blaze of fireworks in his eyes. I want to stay by his side like this, watching the seasons turn and day give way to night, watching the mountains and rivers endure and the moon shine over the frosted river.
