Stardust Across Two Lifetimes

Di Jun had no children. Using the primordial soil left behind when Nüwa created humanity, he fashioned an heir to the throne and nourished her with his own flesh and blood, raising her in the Realm of the Divine Tree. After the war between gods and demons, as Di Jun was ascending to immortality, a demon mirror appeared in the Realm of the Divine Tree. It was called the Mirror of Two Lives. When the mirror came into being, Pluto fell from the heavens. Shards of the fallen star pierced the heir's body and coalesced into a heart. When Pangu created heaven and earth, the first divine tree to stand between them suddenly withered. The pure breath of the Realm of the Divine Tree gradually dissipated, and the heir became a god of demons and evil. The Void became a land of demons, known to the people as the Land of Two Lives. He was a god born from the demon mirror when the world fell into chaos as the divine tree withered. He dreamed of uniting the Six Realms, and wandered the world for a hundred years before suddenly realizing that he was not the heir! In the Land of Two Lives, he told her he was her older brother. His name was Yu Yao, and hers was Yu Chen. “Chen'er, I am the only person in this world who is truly close to you!”
