My Demon Consort Is Defying Heaven Again

Qing Luo was once just a radish. After absorbing immortal energy, she became a spirit. When she was cultivating a human form, she met the immortal Shen Qin, who helped her overcome her tribulation and taught her cultivation techniques. But because she was a demon, he refused to let her call him Master. After five thousand years together, Shen Qin’s sect master discovered them and imprisoned him. Shen Qin’s junior brother, Shen Shu, was the sect master’s great hope. He descended to the mortal realm and became Liu Shu, spending twenty thousand years hunting demons. After killing his senior brother’s man-eating beast mount, he was drawn into his brother’s scheme and met Qing Luo. They came to know each other, then love each other. Shen Qin could not accept this and plotted to make Qing Luo the Demon King. Ten thousand years later, she would be punished in the Heavenly Realm and become his immortal slave. By then, Qing Luo had lost all her memories, but Shen Shu firmly believed that two people who had loved each other would surely fall in love again. Qing Luo’s heart gradually softened, yet she remained unwilling to let Shen Shu restore her immortal bones. But without immortal bones, a god and a demon could never be accepted by Heaven and Earth! Unwilling to let down the people of the Heavenly Realm, Shen Shu resolved to sever his bond with Qing Luo, only to discover that the immortal energy bestowed upon her ten thousand years ago had come from him! Qing Luo had been born because of him, and become a demon because of him. It had all been his doing. Tormented by guilt, Shen Shu decided to live several lifetimes as a mortal to atone. Qing Luo followed him to the mortal realm. They met again and, with their ill-fated bond still unresolved, became entangled once more. Shen Shu thought that gods and demons were destined to walk separate paths, and that Heaven and Earth were heartless. But their love moved Heaven and Earth, and at last they fulfilled their promise to grow old together.
