The Classic of Mountains and Seas: Qingqing Zijin

When chaos first formed, heaven and earth gave birth to all living things. In the beginning, gods, ghosts, and humans lived side by side. The god and ghost clans possessed innate spiritual roots. The former ascended to the Nine Heavens Palace, while the latter ruled the depths underground. The human realm was left to humans with weak spiritual roots and beasts lacking in intelligence. After the age of primordial chaos, the beasts' spiritual roots grew stronger, and the conflict between humans and beasts became ever more irreconcilable. War broke out between humans and beasts. The Beast Lord fell, and the beast clan declined. Ten thousand years later, the Beast Lord's surviving spiritual consciousness found a Host. From then on, a human girl was taken to live among the beasts... More than a decade later, Lian Zijin, a promising disciple of Changbai Sect, one of the leading schools of the mystic realm, went traveling and found a little beast beneath a valley tree on Prison Law Mountain... Five years later, Qinggu, a disciple of Changbai Sect, made a stunning debut and shook the mystic realm... All we wanted was to live in peace. Why will none of you let us? Thirteen years later, the Lord of Ten Thousand Beasts truly descended into the world... From now on, joy is destined to be beyond me. What gives you the right to keep living in peace? After Qinggu had done everything and laid down every burden, all she wanted was to let her spiritual consciousness dissipate and sleep forever, just like him. Senior Brother, you were willing to trade your spirit for mine, but you didn't know that living on alone is the greatest torment... Just as her spirit was about to dissipate, she suddenly learned that his spiritual consciousness had not vanished. It had returned to the Divine Realm... Just as you once came looking for me, now it's my turn to come find you... Lianwu: Miss, I don't know you. Qinggu: That's all right. I know you. Lianwu: You don't seem to be from the Divine Realm. Why are you here? Qinggu: I've come to find my husband. He left me behind and ran off, so I'm going to bring him back...
