She's No Naive Sweetheart

A passionate blurb: Before last year's World Championship began, MLG, fresh off winning the LPL championship, chose to forfeit. No one knew why MLG, who had been just one step away from a Grand Slam, gave up on the World Championship. Now the young players are starting over, still burning with passion and full of hope. They just want to stand atop the world someday and tell everyone, “We're from the LPL!” A proper blurb: Ruan Jiayan, a demon hunter from Zaun, is a bona fide gaming addict, well-behaved in public and short-tempered in private. Then one day, she meets a big name in esports, who spills milk tea all over her. Jing Chao, who has no idea how to interact with girls, asks a blunt question: “You play League of Legends too?” Ruan Jiayan, who barely watches tournaments, doesn't recognize him. Ruan Jiayan: “Could you be... the Moon God?” Jing Chao: ... A short-tempered esports girl who's well-behaved in public, and a League of Legends team captain who pretends to be expressionless. “I've never been afraid of those trolls online, because none of them can curse me as viciously as you can.” A silly little scene: One day, the power goes out at home, and the two run into each other at an internet cafe. Jing Chao silently watches the game on the screen behind the girl for several minutes. When Ruan Jiayan gets back from buying equipment, she sees someone's face reflected in the black computer screen. She turns around, hair standing on end, and finds Jing Chao standing there with an expressionless face. “What are you doing here?” “The power's out at home. What are you doing here?” “My mom kicked me out, using the excuse that girls shouldn't stay home all the time.” “Is that so, short-tempered girl from Zaun?”
