A Child Abandoned by Time

After graduating from college, Chen Xiaodi failed her graduate school entrance exam and chose to try again. Despite the pressure from her parents to find a job, she resolutely sat the exam a third time and finally fulfilled her dream of getting into a prestigious university.

Bai Ye chose to enter the workforce, but none of the jobs she tried worked out. In the end, she risked everything and started her own business, enduring a difficult period before finally reaching the peak of her career.

They fought against fate and against illness, refusing to follow the paths their parents had chosen for them. They pressed on toward their goals, encouraging and supporting each other as they pursued their dreams. They never gave up.

Every child who holds on to a dream others don’t understand is lonely and brave. If you can’t support them, at least encourage them. Don’t make them think they’ve been abandoned, only to regret it when it’s too late.

“If I had a choice, I’d rather never have been born.”

“You have to be okay. I’ll build a warm world for you.”

Dedicated to every child who is working hard and holding on to their dreams.
