Why are most of these words in modern language? Can we use ancient language specifically when writing about cultivation? Can't we use assessments for exams? I really find it awkward. There are too many modern words and there is no sense of inclusion. It makes people feel that this is modern and ancient is not ancient.

I originally wanted to comment, but I don't think there is much to comment on. I should read it within 30 chapters to know if it suits my taste. On the surface, there is nothing sinister about it, but the demon general is written in a rather sinister way.
