The easygoing Chi Yan happens to save a beautiful lion cat. He never planned on becoming a cat person, but as he spends time with his feline “master,” he gradually falls under her spell and names her Xiao Xiu. The pair form a “fateful bond,” but who could have guessed that the cat master would transform into a young woman? The revelation turns Chi Yan’s whole understanding of the world upside down. It turns out Xiao Xiu comes from a planet of cats in a parallel world. Because Chi Yan saved her, the two are bound by a contract: she must repay her debt to him before she can return home. Unfortunately, Chi Yan has no ambitions and wants very little out of life, so Xiao Xiu’s attempts to repay him run into one obstacle after another. Her many ridiculous mishaps turn Chi Yan’s once peaceful life upside down. As time passes and the two go through all kinds of experiences together, they gradually fall for each other. Xiao Xiu’s cheerful, innocent nature also begins to heal the pain and shadows Chi Yan has carried from his past. But danger from the past resurfaces, and when a deliberate accident leaves Xiao Xiu on the brink of death, Chi Yan makes a wish to save the woman he loves. What no one expects is that the moment his wish comes true, all of humanity loses its memories of Xiao Xiu. It turns out that people whose wishes come true forget the cats who repaid their kindness. From then on, Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu become strangers once again. Unwilling to give up on their relationship, Xiao Xiu decides to awaken Chi Yan’s memories...
