I'm Super Sweet, Want a Taste?

[A healing, sweet romance, reuniting after a separation] He was Leng Nanfeng, a withdrawn boy raised in a single-parent household, a tall and handsome top student who was the heartthrob of his school. He had always believed his world was gloomy, until one year a girl with a sun-bright smile lit up his entire world. Only then did he realize that there could be sunshine in it after all. She was Xiao Nian, sometimes tough and sometimes sweet, soft, adorable, and cheerful, raised in a home overflowing with love. An unremarkable underachiever at school, she never fought for more than she needed, knew how to be content, and was a warmhearted girl who knew how to be grateful. That year, at an age when they knew so little, she met him, just as uncertain as she was. Their lives flowed onward like a stream, through a journey of blossoms and withering flowers, through every storm and every little moment, reflecting a dazzling landscape in each other’s hearts. “Hello, everyone. My name is Xiao Nian. Xiao, as in ‘the rustling of autumn,’ and Nian, as in ‘never forgetting.’” Leng Nanfeng, who was on the verge of falling asleep, heard that familiar yet unfamiliar voice. He slowly sat up and turned toward its source. There, a petite figure stood on the platform, smiling like a flower in bloom, bringing life to the lifeless classroom. Some people take only one glance to make you never look away again. … Much later, he finally understood that the saddest thing was not never meeting someone, but meeting them, having them, and then losing them in a rush, leaving a scar in your heart. It hurts whenever it wants to, and you have no power to fight back. Much later, she still thought of the past, when she and he shared every secret. Now, he had become the secret in her heart. A first-love story, beautiful in its ending.
