The Six Realms of the Spirit Source

The Spirit Source is divided into six realms: gods, spirits, demons, humans, monsters, and beasts.

Spirits are the lowest; beasts lack the wisdom to cultivate; monsters can shapeshift; demons are heartless.

Humans are spiritually barren and cannot cultivate. Gods reign supreme, controlling all things.

Ten thousand years ago, war engulfed the six realms. To suppress the realms of monsters, beasts, and demons, the gods and spirits joined forces to fight them, suffering catastrophic losses. The spirit realm suffered the greatest losses of all. After the other three realms were subdued, the spirit realm vanished from the six realms without a trace.

All humans are spiritually barren and cannot cultivate. But during the war, when the Spirit Lord and the Divine Sovereign combined their life force to destroy the Demon Emperor, they released an immense power from the Spirit Source. This caused the six realms across the entire Spirit Source Province to undergo a transformation, and the seeds of cultivation gathered within people's bodies. These were called spirit seeds.

And our story begins in the Spirit Source Province.
