Saintess of the Medicine Sect

Lin Yao, a leading authority in traditional Chinese medicine, transmigrates and lands in a remote, primitive tribe.

Just as the tribe is struck by famine, the chieftain leads his people in praying to the heavens. Lin Yao crashes onto the altar and is immediately hailed as a holy maiden.

Adored by everyone, Lin Yao becomes the tribe’s female leader and guides its people to prosperity and a comfortable life.

With her fair skin and stunning looks, Lin Yao becomes the tribe’s greatest beauty. Yet no one dares marry her. Everyone says she is a fairy sent by the gods to bless the world, and even thinking of marrying her would be blasphemy.

What they don’t know is that their little fairy spends every day eyeing the male leader of a tribe several valleys away.

Lin Yao in the eyes of the world: fairy, holy maiden.

Lin Yao in Shi Ming’s eyes: devil, creep, get lost.

Later, Lin Yao spots an even more handsome male leader and gladly goes after him.

Shi Ming pulls her back with a cold expression and shamelessly says, “You like handsome men, don’t you? I’m the best-looking man in the world. The rest are dog shit. If you like someone else, you like dog shit. Tsk, you have terrible taste. I despise you from the bottom of my heart.”

Lin Yao: “...”

He’s got a point. My taste is pretty bad!

Reader’s guide:

1. The heroine has a spatial dimension, so readers who dislike that trope should take note (golden finger).

2. One-on-one romance, with both leads having no prior partners.

3. The hero is the very rational, profit-first type. The heroine gradually wears down his reason.

5. If this isn’t for you, please move on quietly and don’t flame. Let’s be civil to one another. After all, an author’s books aren’t money, and not everyone will like them. If you have feedback, please share it politely, and I’ll respond in kind.
