South of Qingxi, Beside the Tall Trees

Ling Nannan's peaceful life was thrown into chaos by the selection and the struggle for power, until she met Qingxi. Qingxi had been an orphan, and after growing up in a temple, he traveled far and wide to study. Then he met her, and for the first time, he wanted to settle down. They thought they had found true love, but the layers of tangled, complicated events tested them again and again. They parted, reunited, and parted once more. Could they find their way back to the people they had first been? How can two people overcome all these obstacles and finally be together? “You can ask me for anything, as long as I can do it! As long as it makes you happy!” “Then... let me go...” “...That's the one thing I won't accept.” “Tell me, is power really that important?” “Mu'er, let's run away, to somewhere no one knows about!”
