Sirius's Secret

“Magic reigns supreme! On the New Continent, only mages hold the most prestigious profession. “To become a top mage, you need noble blood, a privileged upbringing, and incredible luck. Not one can be lacking.” Odin, God of Magic Ciris closed the book in her hands, The Complete Guide to Magic Spells. Odin had never said that to her. Ever since she was eleven, her grandfather had told Ciris that the world was cruel, and that she would become the greatest mage on the continent, fighting for her family and Odin's honor, destined to stand against the world! With the complete guide to magic in hand and her grandfather's hopes on her shoulders, Ciris set out on the path to becoming a mage king. She crossed mountains and rivers, slew evil dragons, fought villains, and braved secret realms. The farther she went, the more she realized something was wrong! Why was everything so different from what her grandfather had told her?! I think the Creator God has been pretty nice to me! “Nothing is perfect. Even the gods cannot attain eternity. We live by the World Tree, and we will die with it.”
