My Husband Is a Little Foolish

The Xu family has happy news!

Only then did everyone learn that the Xu family had twin sons.

It was on the wedding day that they discovered the younger Xu son was an idiot.

Rumors flew thick and fast.

Some said the Xu family had done so much evil that this was their retribution: an idiot son.

At their wedding, the Xu family was met with mockery, both open and veiled.

The officiant turned to the bride and asked, “Miss Sun Kexin, do you take Mr. Xu as your husband?”

Unaware that this was a trap, she looked at the man smiling foolishly before her and said, “I do.”

The officiant turned to the groom and asked, “Mr. Xu, do you take Miss Sun Kexin as your wife?”

“I... I do.”

And so began a marriage built on pity and scheming. None of the many women present knew that this wedding would cost them their chance to marry Xu Congshuo forever.

[Bonus Scene]:

Sun Kexin discovered that it had all been a lie. There were no twins at all.

“Xu Congshuo, if you want to keep the Xu family’s secret, get out of my sight right now!”

Xu Congshuo laughed and tossed out two marriage certificates. With an inscrutable smile, he said, “Take a good look before you say that.”

Uneasily, Sun Kexin picked up the certificates. When she saw the two names printed on them, her eyes widened.

The man slipped an arm around her shoulders. “No matter who I am, I’m yours. What more could you possibly want?”

“...” Sun Kexin was completely flustered.

She wondered what she would have to do to end this ridiculous marriage.

He wondered what he would have to do to make her so devoted to him that she’d never want to leave.
