The Tale of Ruo'e

When she stands at the pinnacle of power, she looks back and smiles at those who were there as she grew.

Without you, she would not be who she is today.

From an orphan who lost both parents to a dowager empress ruling from behind the curtain, she made her way forward step by step, overcoming every obstacle. All she wanted was to survive.

P.S. No transmigration or rebirth. This is my first historical romance, so please be patient with any mistakes.

This is an alternate history, with the dynasty modeled mostly on the early Song. If any serious history buffs happen to wander in, I'll do my best to make it as accurate as possible.
