Handbook for Raising an Immortal Lord

“Young man, your forehead is broad and full, and purple energy surrounds you. You have the face of an immortal lord destined to save the world!”

“So?”

“Take me as your master, and I’ll teach you how to cultivate.”

“Ha.”

Jiang Yao looked Jiang Chi up and down. She seemed about his age, but her face was deathly pale, as if she were gravely ill.

Jiang Yao turned and walked away. Jiang Chi slapped a talisman onto his back, and suddenly he couldn't move a muscle.

Jiang Yao was forced to become her disciple.

“Disciple, you have the fate of an immortal lord. Drive away evil and ward off calamity!”

Jiang Chi shoved Jiang Yao forward to block a corpse handler.

“Disciple, you have the fate of an immortal lord. You're tough enough to survive anything!”

Jiang Chi shoved Jiang Yao forward to block an assassin.

“Disciple, you have the fate of an immortal lord...”

Jiang Yao tossed his sword aside. “I don't want to be an immortal lord anymore!”

Jiang Chi made it clear that he didn't get to decide. ╮(￣▽￣"")╭
