The Mute Consort's Journey Through the Realm

Tong Xihan, the legitimate daughter of the great general Tong Rongyao, was born with a face of incomparable beauty. She was as lovely as a closed moon or a shy flower, as graceful as a fish sinking or a wild goose falling. She excelled at music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, and could compose elegant poetry on the spot. Calling her a “talented beauty” was no exaggeration. She was the perfect candidate for crown princess.

But her stepmother held power, and her birth mother had died. Tong Xihan wanted only to live quietly in a corner, until a great fire left her disabled and mute. She escaped death and lived only for revenge. In this turbulent age of tangled identities and competing powers, she became a pawn in a struggle for power. With no chance to live in peace, she could only rely on herself, biding her time and hiding her talents. Watch the mute consort make her way through the realm!
