The Dowager Empress of a Fallen Kingdom

She was Consort Lan, adored by the emperor. Then her kingdom fell and the emperor died. Her son, the only prince, was forced onto the throne, but could only become the ruler of a fallen kingdom. Rather than become a slave to the conquerors and suffer their humiliation, she tried to die for her country alongside her son. But she didn't get her wish. As empress dowager, even of a fallen kingdom, she still had her own dignity. How could she let anyone trample on it? Then someone appeared and turned her life upside down. “I've loved you for sixteen years. Is this really how you're going to treat me?” Liu Ruolan can't handle a fan like this. Please, just leave me alone! Female lead: Acts tough when nothing's wrong, plays timid when trouble comes. Male lead: I just love watching you bring trouble upon yourself!
