He and Time Are Both Cold

Many years ago, a young woman with flowers in her hair held a man's hand and smiled. “Lu Yan, my name is Xia Wuyue. Spring has only one fifth month. If you lose me, you'll never have another May.”

And so the man truly had no more Mays.

Someone asked him, “Who are you looking for?”

“I’m looking for Xia Wuyue, a little girl in a red dress. She’s my wife.” The man leaned on his cane as he walked through streets both bustling and quiet.

And so, in every corner of Spring City, a man searched for his wife.

No one knew whether he ever found her. But they say he may never find her again.
