When All the Glamour Fades, I'll Be Waiting for You

It was already dark. The boy sat beside the girl's bed. Her face was deathly pale, her eyes tightly shut, and an IV was still attached to her hand. Her long, glossy black hair spilled across the pillow like a waterfall.

…

The boy sat by her bed, holding her hand and staring intently at her, afraid that if he blinked, the girl before him would disappear!

“Chi Yun'en, when are you finally going to wake up? Do you know that every day here feels like a year to me? I suffer through a living hell every single day! I've waited for you for so many years, watched over you for so many years, and now you're just going to lie here and leave me alone? Chi Yun'en, I order you to wake up. I order you to wake up!” The man's cool voice echoed throughout the hospital room. Her hand remained clasped around that small, delicate hand, soft as boneless flesh. A dark glint showed in her eyes as she stared at the girl lying on the bed, her eyes closed, as intently as a black hole. His voice held a trace of helplessness, a trace of despair, and a trace of sorrow.

…

The night is quiet, but the ache in my heart as I miss you is not. In this vast world, I don't know where you are. Our love was passionate and impossible to part with. I won't let go. I'll wait for your return! Even when all the splendor has faded, I'll still be here, waiting for you!

[Fallen Splendor, I'm Waiting for You (also known as: Baby, Hello, I'm Super Sweet) is a sweet romance featuring an overbearing CEO. There may be a little angst! This is my first modern romance novel, and I hope everyone will enjoy it!!! Thank you all!!!]
