The Big Shot Insists on Pursuing Me

She’d only gone out to clear her head, but somehow ended up butting heads with the owner of a tiny youth hostel. She couldn’t stand him, and the moment she opened her mouth, she gave him a piece of her mind without sparing his feelings.

But who was going to tell her that this upright, kind-hearted little boss had once been a ruthless, cold-blooded big shot who always got his way?

Dan Chun’s mouth twitched. Could she pretend she’d never met this big shot?

Interview:

Reporter: What was your first impression of Guo Cheng?

Dan Chun: Bad. Really bad.

A certain someone raised an eyebrow.

Dan Chun: He kept making sarcastic remarks, openly and behind my back, and he looked down on me and tried to drive me away. Then, once I left, he came chasing after me, practically wagging his tail, begging to make up. Tell me, isn’t that pathetic? Is that good?

Reporter: Trembling with fear.

The certain someone politely saw the reporter out, then shut the door. It was time to sort out some family matters.

Reporter: What was your first impression of Dan Chun?

Guo Cheng: Bad. Really bad.

A certain someone gave a cold snort.

Guo Cheng: Arrogant and conceited, with her eyes practically on top of her head. Sharp-tongued, always picking fights the moment she opens her mouth. And so dramatic, changing moods faster than the weather in June. In short, I’ve never met a woman so thoroughly unlikeable.

Reporter: Trembling with fear. What is going on with this couple?

A certain someone had already charged over, ready to hit him.

Guo Cheng only smiled faintly, caught the person charging at him, and pulled them into his arms. “But I like her.”

Pathetic. He really was pathetic.

The reporter didn’t need anyone to show them out this time. They left on their own, feeling bitterly jealous.

(A seemingly upright gentleman who’s really a tough, roguish leading man vs. a seemingly aloof, domineering heroine who’s actually kind and sensible. One-on-one romance, happy ending. Come on in!)
