A Warm Marriage in a Golden Age: Master Tong's Quest for Love

Yan Motong, the young master of the Yan Group, is handsome, courteous, and always impeccably mannered. Yet this seemingly perfect man has one imperfection: he is paralyzed from the waist down and spends all year in a wheelchair. Li Wanqing is the daughter of Li Shengwei, the Yan Group’s human resources manager. Beautiful and blessed with captivating peach-blossom eyes, she is a moderately well-known counselor in the field of psychology. Though they come from completely different worlds, a business arrangement brings them together for their very first blind dates. Yan Motong’s first impression of his blind date, Li Wanqing, is that she looks good enough to eat. Li Wanqing’s first impression of the man sitting before her in a wheelchair is that he is determined despite his disability. One day, many people ask Yan Motong, “With the wealth of the Yan Group, you could marry a woman a hundred times more impressive than Li Wanqing in status, looks, and ability. So why did you choose to marry such an utterly ordinary woman, and then treasure her and pamper her?” Yan Motong smiles. “I need a wife, not a flawless woman. Put another way, Yan Motong is just an ordinary man. Aside from having more money, I have my share of happiness and sorrow, and a whole host of flaws. Life is plain and ordinary, and the only person who can accept me and make me genuinely happy is Li Wanqing. Or perhaps I should say that there are many good women in this world, but Li Wanqing is the only one I want.”
