Reborn as a Rural Imperial Tutor

She blew up the research institute that had imprisoned her for fifteen years. Before she could enjoy even a moment of freedom, a drunk driver ran her car off a cliff. In the final moment of her life, Li Jie could only raise her middle finger defiantly at the sky! When she opened her eyes again… There was a barren mountain, a haunted house, a mass grave, and a tender little white dumpling lying in a heap of bones, sucking on a finger. Li Jie: What the hell? … With a broken-down body, less than two taels of silver to her name, a dilapidated horse cart, and the little white dumpling in her arms, the two of them, mother and child, no, a pair of people down on their luck, began figuring out how to survive. Unfortunately, reality was just that cruel! Across the vast land stood countless grand houses, but not one tile belonged to them. Beyond the city lay acres upon acres of fertile farmland, but not a grain of rice was theirs. Then one day, without warning… “Ding! Host has met the System’s evaluation criteria. The first-generation Life Mentor System has been successfully activated. Number 011 is at your service.” A System? Can you build a house? Can you get me a decent meal? No! Li Jie bared her teeth. “What good are you, then?” Number 011 tapped its little index fingers together. “I’m still a little useful.” She responded with a stony expression. The System was so useless that Li Jie ended up forcing herself to go from a good-for-nothing at home to an all-around capable person. By the time the little white dumpling had grown from a tender little dumpling into a big, adorable one, Number 011, which had been hidden away for so long that Li Jie had almost forgotten it, quietly reminded her, “Host, it’s time to get to work!” Li Jie: “You piece of junk System, you’ve got the nerve to show your face!” System 011: “I refuse to be subjected to personal attacks!” At first, Li Jie thought this System was useless. Later, she finally understood. 011 might not do anything most of the time, but when it did, it went big! How about becoming the Emperor’s tutor?
