The heroine is a journalist who travels to Yunnan to secretly investigate businesses in a border tourist region that slaughter wild animals. She hopes to expose these lawbreaking businesses and protect the wildlife. To conceal her identity after arriving in Yunnan, she pretends to be a tour guide, taking the hero and his friend on a trip and using tourism as a pretext to lure businesses into offering wild game. But the hero is a forest ranger who lost his job and came to Yunnan to clear his head after his father died protecting wildlife. He accidentally sees through the heroine's disguise, and the two begin their journey to protect animals.
