High God, Don’t Block the Way

[A one-on-one romance with both sweetness and heartbreak, and plenty of satisfying moments. Enter at your own risk.]

While resolving the ancient grievance surrounding the River of Forgetfulness, Beizhuo, an immortal from Hexu, met the unusual Hua Wei. They fought their way through the Six Palaces, climbed mountains of blades, descended into hell, and braved dragon's lairs. Each time, he nearly lost his life, but he didn't care, as long as he could stay by her side.

But Hua Wei thought: If you won't take me to Hexu, you're a liar.

From then on, Beizhuo and Hua Wei caused a sensation across the Six Realms. They quelled turmoil in the Underworld, resolved calamities in the mortal realm, and settled the ten-thousand-year grudge between demons and ghosts... until they finally incurred the wrath of heaven:

“If Hua Wei lives, the Six Realms will never know peace!”

Hua Wei: After spending thousands of years in a daze by the River of Forgetfulness, she suddenly came to her senses, only to discover her extraordinary intelligence and her mission to save the world. Yet she was still attached to worldly love, willing to give up the whole world for romance.

Beizhuo: Heir to the Emperor of Hexu, he holds a high position and studies the great way of heaven and earth, yet cultivates the path of the Rakshasa. He carries all living beings in his heart, but longs only for love.

[A little scene]

Hua Wei smiled with amusement in her eyes. “That umbrella of yours is lovely.”

Beizhuo glanced at her. “Then it's yours.”

Hua Wei beamed. “That sword of yours is amazing.”

Beizhuo closed his eyes to rest. “Then it's yours.”

Hua Wei leaned closer, her eyes curving like crescent moons. “You're handsome, too.”

Beizhuo's lips curled into a faint smile. “Then... I'm yours, too.”
